Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. She went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. She maintained her dominance, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. In a recent replacement match to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
